First Music Video

Posted in All, Behind the Scenes

I must say the Canon 5D is the perfect camera for music videos. It is small, light, and can get every angle you could ever want. On top of that you don’t need to haul around a huge lighting kit. We had a lot of fun to say the least

This first video was a great experience for myself and my two friends who helped out on it (see credits at the end of the video). It took one full day to shoot and roughly two weeks to edit. Thanks to www.visualedge.tv we were able to rent some amazing Canon L series lenses and a small Zacuto rig and the Z-finder. The only thing I wish I had for that shoot was a monitor because it is very hard to focus on that small monitor, even with the Z-Finder.

I hope I have the chance to do more videos real soon. I was able produce and co-direct this video which was a lot of fun. I enjoy working with people and working together with others on a team. Everyone was very enthusiastic about the project and I think it turned out pretty well.

Here is the final product.
