One of my favorite hobbies (outside of movies, gear, etc) is the great outdoors. When I got a call from Joe about a project that would capture all of the amazing things the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy had to offer I was all in. I couldn’t believe I’d be able to shoot each park and highlight the best parts of them.

The biggest thing Joe wanted was movement. Always moving and flowing through great outdoors. Immediately we knew a gimbal would be the best tool for the job and needing to keep it light (we had to hike in deep for certain shots) the Panasonic GH4 would be a perfect fit. Internal 4K, slow motion and light. I was floored by the image we got out of this little thing and loved how easy it was to operate and create shooting profiles.

We rigged the Gh4 to the DJI Ronin M along with a PD One Wireless Follow Focus, and the SmallHD DP7.
